buzzter — Terms of Use

Last updated: 8 September 2026

By installing or using buzzter you agree to these terms.

1. What buzzter is

buzzter turns phones into buzzers for an in-person event. Anyone can join a room and buzz, free of charge and for as long as the app exists. Hosting a room — running the clear/buzz/lock race and seeing the ranked order — requires a subscription.

3. Fair use

Don't use buzzter to break the law, to harass anyone, or to interfere with the service or other people's games. Display names are visible to the host and are your responsibility — don't enter anything you wouldn't want shown on a screen in front of a room.

4. What we don't promise

buzzter depends on a network connection and on a server we run. It is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, that a room will always be reachable, or that timing will be accurate to any particular tolerance. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app — including the outcome of any game, contest, or event run with it.

Nothing here limits any rights you have under the consumer law of your country, or the terms of the store you bought through.

5. Changes

We may update these terms. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
